Full Moon in Aquarius

The Moon waxes Full this Friday at 8 degrees of Aquarius at 6:43 AM EDT. Look for inspiration related to the long term under the light of this visionary influence. Rekindle courage with the light of the brilliant Leo Sun.

Venus Retrograde, Uranus and Mars

Venus will station retrograde on July 25. Retrograde periodsare a good time for review. Through September 6 it bodes well to consider areas of life related to finances, partnership, friendship and aesthetics and what improvements you would like to make in those areas. Through mid August Jupiter’s beneficent influence will be close by bringing the opportunity for expanded vision which can open the door to new opportunities.

This week is off to an edgy start as Mars moves up to an exact square to Uranus. This planetary combination can create volatility. It bodes well to exercise restraint in communications with others and to take more care when driving and moving about as impulsiveness can create a more accident prone time.

Venus Enters Virgo

Venus will shortly enter the sign of Virgo forming a conjunction to Juno – the asteroid of commitment. With Saturn’s recent return to Scorpio this planetary configuration bodes well for using discrimination to reassess and reaffirm commitments to spiritual growth, emotional growth, and intentions related to staying out of fear.

The New Moon is Wednesday July 15 at 23 degrees of Cancer. This entire week is a very powerful time for intention and action – with the Moon and some of the fast moving, action oriented planets entering the dynamic Cardinal Square.
Under this influence it bodes well to think about what creates stability and security in your life and in your home and how to enhance those areas.
The Moon is also about the past – the family of origin and the ancestors- a good time to assess which of their gifts you will hold on to and honor in your journey forward. Also a good time to leave behind what no longer serves you. The support for personal evolution is very strong at this time.

Uranus and Pluto

Full Moon in Capricorn

On a recent trip to Seattle I took an Uber home one night. I struck up a conversation with the driver who told me he had recently emigrated from Ethiopia. I asked him if he had a family and he explained that he was married and had four children. He looked at me in the mirror, his eyes sparkling and said, “Family is a blessing.” When I asked him if he liked working for Uber he nodded his head smiling enthusiastically and said,”It’s a blessing.” It had helped them to start a new life in this country.
My ride with him that day was memorable – it was nice to be in the presence of someone who so joyfully appreciated the good things in his life.

Mars in Cancer

Fiery, direct, dynamic Mars is now in the private, self protective sign of Cancer – symbolized by the Crab with its sideways, indirect motion. The energy of Mars can be frustrated in Cancer.
It can be an irritable time when family issues and issues of the past can easily be triggered resulting in angry, impulsive responses. Best if these situations arise to bring critical thinking to the fore and keep emotions at bay. Mars will move into Leo in early August.

Saturn in Scorpio
